Just came back from seeing Star Trek. Finally, a decent summer movie, I needed a good eye rinse after the mess Iron Man 3 was.
I went with an open mind, as I usually do when it comes to “sacred” franchises, although, to be honest, I feel it’s not hard to do justice to something like Star Trek. Bam. The action was good, sound and effects were great and the story, overall, decent. (Predictable as the Moon)
Cumberbatch was decent enough as the main baddie, he had presence and added a lot of weight to his scenes but man does this guy like to overact in this movie. Cringe worthy at one point.
Anyway, that’s that.
Anonymous asked: You post some great stuff, especially tattoos! but don't you like more traditional tatts?
Thank you! It’s not that I don’t like them, I just prefer more abstract stuff, usually in black ink… I like them on others, but on myself, I would only put personal symbols, and usually drawings or portraits don’t speak to me like that. I prefer geometric, vague stuff, that have meaning for me…
